While still enrolled at Loras College, I contributed a couple of articles to the popular Iowa politics blog, Iowa Starting Line

That Time I Asked Rep. Rod Blum a Question

So I attended a town hall in Dubuque, Iowa, and got to ask my Congressman a question. He obviously didn't answer, because politicians never do, but it gave me the opportunity to write about my experience. Written in a narrative form, the article is meant as an indictment of Blum's behavior.

Moving Forward

Before joining onto a campaign, thus ending the series, I began writing for Iowa Starting Line. This series, entitled "Moving Forward", discussed how Democrats should receive the catastrophic loss of 2016, and how we should adapt to succeed in the future.

Change in Democratic Campaigns

Due to my previous experience working on campaigns, I had opinions on what I liked and disliked. After the losses of Archie Parnell and Jon Ossoff in 2017, I decided to express those opinions, because how Democrats campaign is not good. I was, and still am, frustrated with 'churn-and-burn' style tactics which are so prevalent in campaign strategies, and I hope for a future where sincere and meaningful engagement takes it's place.
